This was later confirmed by Miles Copeland, head of the CIA in Egypt during the same period, in his famous book, "The Game of Nations." In it, he said, "German intelligence saw the Iron Guard group as a fulcrum." This was important, and this was helped by the king's spontaneous orientation towards the axis."
