In this class, I'll be showing you how to create your own digital textures which can be used as texture overlays or backgrounds for your photos. Adding digital textures as overlays and backgrounds to your photos and images, gives you the ability to create color, texture, shading and lighting that can turn your photos into beautiful works of digital art.
During this class we'll make a psd template file with multiple layers, by first creating a base texture then adding other layers on top that can be turned off and on to create a range of different textures with different colors. Using these techniques, you can create an infinite number of digital textures in no time at all.
I've included a set of project files including a brush set and images that you can download and use to follow along with the tutorial and make a similar psd template file as I do. Or you can use your own images and text to create something totally unique for you.
