This course is intended for undergraduate students, graduate students, scholars, and anyone who wishes to write and/or publish their research. This course enables anyone who wants to develop the skills they need to become successful writers in their acad and post-acad careers. There are five sections in this course: Section 1. Assessing Your Writing Skills & Planning a Research Paper; Section 2. Writing the Introduction; Section 3. Writing the Literature Review; Section 4. Writing the Methods; Section 5. Writing the Results and Discussion (including effective tables and figures) & the Research Paper Abstract. This course also looks at sample writings for you to be able to understand the structure of each section in a research paper. The sample writings cover both social sciences and hard sciences.
