Product Details Today I'm going to show you (after my las class) another illustration a little bit different compare to the majority of my other classes, and I'm talking about a class based on Digital Painting In particular, I'm going again to show you how I realised from a normal instagram selfie of a friend of mine, a digital illustration mixing ink and watercolor style
I usually do classes based on traditional painting, but during the last lockdown i decided to expand "my medium"
For a very long time I kept an eye on that digital world, but i didn't really join the digital art, because i felt weird, after over 20 years dedicated to understand colors, medium, brush, paper etc
Anyway, it's running 2021 now, and i think is time to evolve and expand the range of my artwork, even because I'm a (digital) photographer as well, so i think could be a great idea join the digital art, and create it using one of the most popular digital Art tool.I'm talking about iPad.
This time I create this class using Procreate on iPad, watercolor technique based on my own brush set, created by me during the UK lockdown in October/November 2020.
I tried to put all my long experience as traditional painter, into the Digital Art World, and this is why I spent weeks to figure out my own brush set, because i want to get the same result (yes i know is impossible) or a final illustration very close to my traditional artwork made with real colors, real brushes, on real physical paper.
Actually I did it, and I had already printed my illustrations, so in some way, i have physically in my hand my Digital Artwork.
Also, I think print my Artowrk is the best way to understand what I need to improve in the Digital world, and the only way to do that, even in photography, is to get a comparison between an HD print and a realistic watercolor painting.
