Seit Jahren träumt Deadpool davon, ein Avenger zu werden – und nun bietet ihm der zwielichtige TVA-Agent Mr. Paradox an, in die heilige Zeitlinie zu wechseln, um dort Teil des MCU zu sein. Doch dafür muss der vorlaute Söldner ein großes Opfer bringen: Seine Welt wird ausgelöscht. Weil Deadpool dies nicht zulassen will, schickt Mr. Paradox ihn und eine von Deadpool rekrutierte, abgehalfterte Variante von Wolverine in die Leere – die große Müllhalde aller Universen. Dort hat die finstere Cassandra Nova ein Schreckens-Regime errichtet. Deadpool ist klar: Will er seine Welt, all seine Freunde und seine große Liebe Vanessa retten, muss er an ihr vorbei und auch Mr. Paradox aufhalten. Doch dazu muss er erst einmal den verbitterten Wolverine überzeugen, ihm zu helfen …
